Description

Sword bayonet for use with M1924 and M1930 Short Rifles produced by FN for export.

The Swedish and Ghanaian UN-soldiers that was UN-soldiers in Congo started an attack against the Katangese armed forces.

On new years eve they launched a raid against the base in Kaminaville – Codename: Grandslam. The diarmed the troops and the weapons was in UN:s hands. The  Katangesian forseces had support from Belgian mercenaries.

This bayonet with the written name Kaminaville was sold as a souvenir to the Swedish soldiers and some hundreds was sold in all.

Very rare and with a UN – history that shows that UN had muscles to deal with the rebels
