MODIFIED GERMAN M/84 – 98 FOR THE MAUSER K98k – M/1957 SLG M1 SLG GARAND BAYONET – NORWAY

Description

Rare – only 5000 where modified to fit the M1 Garand rifle.

When Norway used the a belt with holes for the bayonet they welded a hanger on the backside. This one have the fitting that only so it could be used on the M1 Garand.

The Germans left a lot of material when they left Norway and the scabbard was made of  “ddl”  Remscheider Hobelmesserfabrik Josua Corts Sohn 1941.

The bayonet was mad in 1941 with the serial number 7355.

A good bayonet some usage and some small rust but overall it is very good.
