Description

On August 10 1941, the time was considered ripe to form its own (national) Swedish troop unit, the Swedish Volunteer Battalion (SFB). Lieutenant Colonel Hans Berggren was appointed commander of the battalion. In total, the force then, all in all, amounted to just over 800 men.

The badge was mounted on the front of the uniform.
