A GOOD ORIGINAL OVERSEAS CAP
The size is small, approx 55 cm
It has the the Kriegsmarine national eagle with swastica and the national cocard. Both emblems are machine woven.
It have a small metal edelwiess, early pattern.
It could ba a oversea cap from U-boat 124 but it can also be a sailor cap from another branch of the navy. During the battle of narvik in 1940, sailors that fought alongside General Dietl´s gebirgsjäger attached a edelweiss to their caps.
The cap is bought from a collection in Norway to the Global war museum.
It is in very good conditon and it have been used.
