VERWUNDETABZEICHEN IN SCHWARTZ MIT BESITZNEUGNIS IM FELDE 1944 MIT l/11 WILLHELM DEUMER LÜDENSCHEID – WOUNDED IN BLACK WITH DOCUMENT GERMANY WWII

A nice couple that I found in Germany. The document was glued to a bible and the medal was in frame.

First of all the the medal was black for the first time Obergefreiter Franz Wyrenbeck was wounded  in 9th Feb. 1944. He was recoverd and sent badk to the front in 2./ A.R bat.

the medal seems very fresh but there are som small rust and a smalll bend on the ring that you can see on the pics. That means that it have been with him all his life.

the document have some damages partly from that he had it in his Soldbuch and that his relativs took away and made some more damages that you can see. But it´s a part of the history. Oberartzt u. Gerfast signatur and everything else is can be read.

It´s a a set that is very good together.
