In the beginning it was supposed to take 35000 young girls and 35000 young boys to Sweden. WHY?

Everybody thought this was just a humane act but it was more it was a time that nobody thought that Finland could survive the war against Soviet union so Sweden decided to have a “Kindergarten” with the Finnish race and people so they could match and if Finland was taken they would populate Finland again. This is in my research

Some took more than one child so in total it cam 80.oo children here so maybe 50.000 was minted in bronze and given to them who helped the children in Sweden.

It is a large medal very good design.
