Description
An epic weapon for cowboys called “Gauchos”.
They used no handguns but had this knife as a weapon for defending and to use in there job but first of all it was a status knife because of the very fine silver handcraft. The blad is of steel and have som notches on the upper blade. The maker name is placed on the blade. In this case because the name is not complete, La Mondomedina often translated to Mondina.
One strange thing is that the blade is used but the rust on the blade is because of that the water went in and ha the blade is used and when you see the outside it looks like it was NOS but the blade is sharpened so the silver is thick and heavy.
Even in USA this knife was used.
It´s from approx. in 1910 .
The blades length is 12,1 cm
The total length with the scabbard: 23 cm
The weight of the scabbard (80% silver) 63,55 gram and the toal amount of silver must be approx 100 gram
Total weight: 161,25 gram
The knife is a jewel and I love it.
